Viva! Events Transforms Meeting Processes for Cost-Reductions and Increased Efficiencies

PORTLAND, Ore., January 20, 2009 — Viva Events, a creative agency that provides comprehensive meeting management services, is helping companies boost productivity with cost-effective strategies that enhance the efficiency and impact of meetings. Viva Events assists companies in consolidating meeting processes and technologies to ensure meetings produce significant ROI, while maximizing use of employees' time.

In today's tough economic times, company resources are stretched extremely thin. Employees are compensating for decreased budgets and staff with increased workloads. It becomes increasingly important for organizations to sharpen focus on activities that positively impact the bottom-line. The introduction of a strategic meetings management plan makes it easier for corporations to track and consolidate spending on meetings and events. It also provides visibility into the number of meetings happening across an organization, allowing senior management the ability to make informed decisions on the best allocation of funds with the highest return and value-add to the company.

"A meeting planner's role comprises so much more than logistics," said Denise Ker, owner of Viva Events. "It involves innovation and utilization of technological and financial resources that align with companies' vision and culture. Careful planning and preparation are essential to maximizing meeting effectiveness. By streamlining processes and implementing consistent meeting practices throughout an organization, we're able to drive meetings toward specific and desired business outcomes. In turn, this provides companies with significant savings in time and personnel resources."

Viva Events works as a strategic partner with all levels of meeting management consolidations from planner training and implementation of standard templates and process improvements to large-scale financial and technology enhancements. Viva Events provides companies the information and knowledge to work smarter and save money in the meeting and event arena.
